Again, the DEMs have a safe majority in the Senate and the Presidency. They have the power position and will get more in negotiations for this reason.

The democrats' majorities here are anything but safe. Go sell your gaslight bullshite to someone else. Republicans don't have to sell out to dems on immigration to keep the house. This is asinine on its face.

are you paying attention? The biggest, most powerful republican voting bloc is willing to take the knocks and play the long game to purge out the establishment, and has been since the Tea party. You want to run back into the arms of people like Mitch McConnell for what exactly? The occasional R majority where all we get is surrender?
