If you can be drafted to go fight and die in a war you should be able to vote for/against the politicians that put you there or might do so.

It’s that simple and for me the concept is more important than taxation without representation. (Another reason 18 year olds should be able to vote).

There hasn’t been a draft since the early 70s and the current model of the military is not set up for that.


We have highly trained individuals who want to be there and not biker gangs who get busted and have the option of prison or Vietnam.

Yet you can't drink until 21.
