its been quite a few years since i spent a considerable amount of time on the road, but a decade ago it wasn't uncommon to spend 300 nights a year in a hotel. In Louisiana we take decent food for granted. However, when you spend a month traveling to no name towns in the midwest, you appreciate the consistency of what at the time was an Outback steakhouse across any number of states. Again, i haven't been to one in quite a while. But i'd go for an Outback special and a draft amberbock and not be dissapointed.
