Perkins is too small to play ILB. That was emphasized over and over. Our lack of pressure on opposing QB's was the direct result of Perkins misuse.

He was not awesome at ILB at any point last season. Kevin Minter, Kendall Beckwith, and Devin White were great at ILB. Perkins is no where near any of those guys right now.

He was invisible for most of the season, and really wasn’t awesome at any position. Maybe our expectations were too high after his surprisingly good freshman season.

He was a non factor there which is why they moved him back to Jack.
