I sold a hunting truck recently. Listed it on Craigslist Houston and wife listed it in Facebook Marketplace.

Almost immediately I was hit with scammers on Craigslist. "I want to buy it", etc...etc... all bullshite scams. Pulled the listin and stated truck would be sold for cash and we would meet at that person't bank to handle the transaction and title changeover during normal banking hours M-F or Sat AM. All scam contacts immediately stopped.

Honestly... who buy a boat, truck, motorcycle, etc... without seeing it and hearing it run?

Craigslist is unusable now because of scammers. Marketplace doesn't seem as bad but only because I only list things locally or buy things locally.

Id almost bet the used boat market either is or will be inundated about mid-july this year. All them folks that became boat owners in 2020 because they are bored are probably about ready to get rid of that expensive leaf cathcer.

It’s already fairly saturated, but the pricing hasn’t changed much yet for some reason. Hopefully it starts crashing soon bc I sold high and now I want to buy low
