Hurd clearly has it in him to be as dominant as any pitcher. He proved that in Omaha when he held that potent Florida offense to 2 runs on 2 hits & 7 Ks through 6 innings of work in the championship game.

The thing about Hurd is, you don’t know if you’re gonna get 2023 championship game Hurd……or 2 1/3 innings with 6 hits and 2 walks Hurd.

Hurd does have the potential for dominate play after watching last year he is just a slow starter. It’s coaches call though.
