Where are you located? That is fixable. That punched through because the kingpin races were so slap worn out, it finally all gave up and busted through a thin part of the casting that doesn’t carry any load whatsoever.

The seat needs to be welded up, remachined, and then that punched through part welded up and ground down to look fresh again.

ETA- I am happy to help you get it fixed even if you have to ship me the housing. I do this for a living, I would want to have my line bore guy look at it and confirm that we can handle it- but we’ve done some that were so screwed up before, I don’t think this is any worse.

And before someone says “You can’t weld cast” I promise you- that person has never made their living in heavy equipment. Huge cylinder rod ends get welded every day and line bored. Kingpin bearing race seats (like this) get done all the time. The price of the part and like in this case- the availability- creates a specialized repair industry that can do this- and do it well.

Thank you all for the input. It is greatly appreciated.

We are working with subMoa on a resolution.

Part prices would quickly overtake the blue book value on the tractor.
