For me it’s kind of like chips and dip. I like the flavor of the food but also want some crunch

Thank you for being the first to answer my question instead of just downvoting my post for expressing a differing opinion.

A cracker mutes the flavor of what I'm eating. And in the case of raw oysters, it also dries the texture of an otherwise succulent mouthful. Who wants a crunchy raw oyster anyway? Are you kidding me?
