Bob Dylan - "Mixed-Up Confusion" (1962)
I have never understood this release.
If Dylan was trying to position himself as a folkie troubadour, why would he/the label put out a single that is essentially rockabilly?

Trivium - Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr
That riff just hit 14 year old me right in the gut. I play it every time I pick up a bass / guitar. That album was one of the few I had with me during Hurricane Katrina and I wore it out and I thought the video was so cool when I saw it on Fuse (or maybe whatever the Windows Media Player program was where you could look up music).
