This record was in a bunch that my uncle gave me. Can’t find anything on it on Discogs or anywhere really. Is anyone here familiar with the festival or any of the bands/musicians that played it. Just kinda curious since there’s no information on it anywhere. TIA

Veterans Park in Shreveport had an amphitheater that hosted Labor Day concerts for a time. It looks like the June show referenced in the notes was maybe the earliest version of that, with Muscular Dystrophy (famous for the Labor Day telethon at that time) listed as the beneficiary.
Stevie Ray Vaughn played there in 1984. The Ken Shepherd in the notes was local DJ Shotgun Ken Shepherd, father of Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Little KWS famously saw that show as a tot and became determined to play guitar.
Joan Jett was there in 1985. South Paw and Flash Kahan were openers for her. I was there somewhere.
South Paw and Danny Johnson & the Bandits played a lot around Shreveport in those days.
There are lots of Facebook posts about those old shows, as well as several pics and news articles from the Twin Blends history guys.

So I'm trying to figure this out. Louisiana Hot Sauce was Mike, Don and Eddie. But the Louisiana Hot Sauce Band was Roger and David. Why did those two not warrant the cache to be in the actual ""Louisiana Hot Sauce" act?

Believe Danny Johnson spent some time playing guitar for Rod Stewart
