Exactly. When there's no understanding of money, you're just the bad guy for not spending it. Vilified. Just childish stuff, puerile.
Sorry to hear that. Yeah, how someone does anything is how they do everything, and when something's wrong, it's always wrong. If she's vicious in one way, she's likely to be vicious in other ways, too. Sounds like she was the type who wanted to 'have her cake and eat it, too'. No impulse control, demands instant gratification.
Sounds like you're doing better now at least. Hats off to you, wishing you well.

Thanks man. I'm doing much better than she is so that's a plus. Just stacking away money for the future. I'll probably never get married again.
I almost forgot this gem. She had gained about 30 lbs (135-165) and wanted to pay $8k for BARIATRIC surgery. Instead of paying $10/month to Planet Fitness and losing the weight, she wanted to go get snipped on. She actually went in for a consultation behind my back and the doctor was like...."yeah, no...you're not a candidate". Just delusional.
