So our coach was scared to design a play because the other team gets to set a defense.

Ouch.

I’m extremely encouraged by our improvement but this aspect is very concerning to me. 3-4 seconds on the clock and I like chaos. We inbounded with 10 seconds and got to our side of the court with 8.

Learn ball, there are plenty of coaches who let their guys play without a timeout in late game situations

The initial shot was ugly, but Kentucky losing their man in a ORB box out situation happens in part because they aren’t reminded in the huddle by Cal

Pretty sure we didn’t call a TO against South Carolina and it worked to perfection as well

It's not at all uncommon, I've seen many a good coach eschew end game time outs for that very reason. They all practice end game situations like this. I have no issue with it. They ran a play out of the timeout for Wright just earlier and he turned the ball over.
