Prolly Germans, but this song speaks volumes about being a man.

This will probably speak more to the older generation because men have become, in the last 30 years or so, emasculated. Not on purpose I don't think, but in their effort to elevate women's rights, they made men the enemy; the problem.
You can call me sexist if you want, but most women will never understand what it's like to be the head of a household. The responsibility of being the primary reason that your family prospers or doesn't carries a ton of pressure that cannot be truly quantified.
This concept is not something that should be debated because it just is. Whether you agree with it or not doesn't make it less true.
At this very moment my three daughters have know idea what it took to get them to where they are in life. It was expensive; not just monetarily.
I'm not complaining because I chose that road and I wouldn't change a thing. See, most men would give almost anything to make sure their children do not have to walk that same road, and the view we have of ourselves, right or wrong, is tied directly to the success of our children.
The reason that most don't know what men go through is because men do not talk about it. They simply go about the business of providing for their families.
I don't want to discredit what women do because we, men, will never truly understand them either and I am a better man because of my wife. I could never do what my wife does for this family.
Lastly, sometimes it's enough just to know that you're not alone, and if nothing else, this song does that.

Meme doesn't make since, it's a song, you listen to it. Go be gay somewhere else.

I appreciate the sentiment, but the song itself sucked

The version featuring Darius Rucker is pretty good.
A Manly song then we’re making waffles and swapping manly stories.

You'll probably get some shite over this because that's the world we live in, but his message resonates.
I got off from work tonight and sat down in the shower exhausted, feeling dead inside. Picked myself up and went on to help the kids with their home work and gave them a shower. Mustering a fake smile the entire time that I hoped they wouldn't notice. I know any man worth their salt goes through or has gone through the same thing. I just keep telling myself it was meant to be hard, but that's what makes it worth it

To be fair, this isn't new. Men have been having these problems for centuries. You can read old diaries from men stating the same thing over 100 years ago, or round about same thing. I found out my old farming grandad had basically went through a midlife crisis in his 30s. As an old man he always seemed happy, and I assumed he was always like that. Middle age can be a bitch.

This thread came at the right time. I just worked a double tonight to afford Jaxxsynn's burst fade haircut and his chains for one of his travelball championships this season.

Anyone who posts about a song and then links the song without giving the title should be kicked really hard in the nuts(or vagina) and banned for a month.
