All comes down to if you believe life begins at conception. Can’t say it does in a “natural ” situation but doesn’t here

So what happens now? this all started with a case brought to the supreme court who's embryo's where destroyed in a lab incident. Those couples are bringing a wrongful death lawsuit against the lab. This ruling basically end's IFV in Alabama. If your that much of a conservative that you believe a frozen embryo is a human being and needs to be protected, can you all move to Alabama and leave the rest of us to make grown up decisions. I have many friends that have had children using IVF. My wife and I tried this and it didn't work so we stopped trying. Under this law we would be tried for manslaughter for the destruction of our frozen embryo's.

This is going to come back to haunt conservatives, as “life begins at conception” will seem ridiculous to millions of reasonable people due to this ruling. It’s a Pyrrhic victory for religious nuts.

I do believe that life begins at conception but it’s only murder when it’s viable.
Such as ectopic pregnancy. The baby is not viable so I do not consider it to be abortion.

Part of concecption is attaching to the uterus. Eggs can be fertilized (which is what IVF is) but still not conceive.

By that standard birth control is abortion, as it precludes fertilized embyos from attaching to the uterine walls of a female, killing the embryo. This logic could get very interesting.
