I think the first thing in Louisiana that needs to be done is open all WMAs and other state and federal lands up to year round hog hunting.

A a$$hole in Grant parish bought a bunch of them at a sale barn and turned them loose on his property but he didn’t have a fence anywhere close to being able to keep them contained.Now they’re all over the place.
Also heard about a farmer not far from me that bought some and turned them loose because he thought it would be cool to have them to hunt.Was told he is very much sorry he did that.
As far as eating they are very good but I only eat those I kill in the winter that are eating acorns,pecans and deer corn.Boars are good if you drop them in their tracks.I’m sure one that has been caught by dogs would be nasty.
