And give specifics as to why.

Carrol? Lol - talent galore and loses to UCLA, Stanford, Oregon State... yada yada

Mack Brown? Lol - nobody has done less with more than ole Brownie. Thank God for Vince Young eh?

Saban? Lol - annual losses to ULM's, UAB's - 2 seasons better than 3 losses.

Meyer? Lol - loses to OLE MISS at home (hey even Les did that) - gets BAILED OUT his last MNC year in at least 3 games.

Tressel? Lol - exposed when he ventures out beyond the Shitty 10.

Beamer?
Stoops?
Tubbs?

Bottom line is - there is NO coach that meets the Rant standards of a "great" coach - the man is impossible to exist.

Les is right in the middle of the cream of the crop at the top.

Get over it fellas and go enjoy some Christmas cider.

I'm sure Florida fans were thrilled with that 4 loss season last year...with the Heisman trophy winner at QB.

We know you would, Doc. And you would lose a game you should win every year.

probably considering they didnt have a running game or a defense and took the defending champs right down to the wire. their losses were by 12,6,4, and 3

so basically the combined points they lost by << the amount lsu lost to florida by this year.

Who's a great coach?

I'd take Nick Saban, Tubbs, Carroll, Urban.

My shocker on this list...Mike Gundy. On top of being a man, he's got Okie State on the upswing.

Bobby Bowden
"At Florida State, Bowden inherited a team that had won just four games over the previous three seasons. In his 31 years as the head coach at Florida State, he has had only two losing seasons, his first and second in 1976 and 1977; and has compiled a 300–84–4 record. He is the only coach in Division I-A football history to have enjoyed 14 straight seasons of 10 or more wins. His Florida State Seminoles finished an unprecedented 14 straight seasons in the top 5 of the Associated Press College Football Poll, and won the College Football National Championship in 1993 and 1999."

Any one who watched "We are Marshall" knows what Bowden did for Marshall after the plane crash. He may be having some hard times now, but I will always have respect for that man. Keep in mind fellow tiger fans, we are the only real football choice in LA. In Florida kids have to choose between Gators, Seminoles and Hurricanes.

You mean the highly fictioniled & dramatized Hollywood version of him handing over his playbooks?
