We have a "they/them" chick at work. It really is depressing. I knew I hated that shite even when it was an abstract concept. Now that my colleagues and I are forced to participate in this farce, I hate it so much more than I could ever have anticipated. We're paid above market, and given "golden handcuff" compensation plans, because the company is a lucrative shitshow in so many ways, but this "they/them" crap is really trying me.
I guess maybe there's some wiggle room to at least get "them" reassigned far, far away from me, but more likely than that is just continued alcoholism on my part as I deal with "them" until enough of my stock awards vest to justify hauling arse. And it's all just because some young, naive chick (who I actually feel somewhat sorry for) wants attention.

They going to fire you over not using they/them pronouns for someone?
I'd just never talk to her. I'd ignore her entire existence. She'd be like Bruce Willis in The Sixth Sense. I'd pretend I can't even see her when she is next to me and deaf if she tries to speak to me.
