If you can come up with an excuse, try to visit the vault downstairs or by elevator. You can only begin to imagine the secrets that were stored in that vault. And the very simple elegance of the room where you could go through your boxes.

My grandmother took me to see the vault, probably early 70s. Then we had lunch at the downtown Pancho's. Good times.

Long gone due to Hurricane Katrina. The big door is still there but it is basically nonfunctional. That room where you went through the boxes was an absolute dump.
