From a fan's perspective, I have never seen an athlete in any sport, up 20 pts for a national title chase the opponents star player around the court doing the "see the ring" gesture that Joe Burrow did... (before the game ended)
But Burrow did it front of his head coach on the sideline...way different swag...
imagine Joe's reputation if he ran over to the Clemson sideline and did that on National TV? he'd be flagged for taunting at the very least.
he'd catch all kinds of hell wouldn't he?
so, what Reese did seemed personal and probably a little bit of racial resentment mixed in there as well..

This is the most missed part of the Angel Reese getting heat for “trash talking” that most of that same media wouldn’t talk about… I believe Reese did what she did because Clark is white. I don’t think she does the ring thing directly to a black star opponent. A little extra “trash talk” because the white girl was getting too much praise for being good.
I think the folks in here claiming “racism” on the part of the media know that and don’t have a single problem with it.
