Nussmeier is a better passer than Jayden especially considering point of their careers.
Jayden had an easier path to elite passing numbers due to his dual threat ability and defense's obligation to defend him as both run and pass threat. That is not something being said to discredit jayden, its just what the advantage is of being such an elite running and passing qb in today's game.
Nuss may not end up with as elite efficiency stats but he'll do very well and have elite numbers in multiple different ways. The run threat will have to be presented in play action and different means in the offense.

"Better" passer will be a tough task. But I think you will see a more diverse route tree with Nussmeier. There wasn't a ton of creativity in the passing game last season. Mostly because there didn't have to be. Daniels mostly looked for the one-on-one matchup and attacked it knowing his WRs were better than the DBs. There will still be some of that next year. But you saw in the bowl game Nussmeier was willing to throw it to different receivers at different levels. He'll throw to the TE over the middle more. He'll try to layer some passes in between defenders. He'll check it down to the backs (whereas Daniels would just take off and run).
I predict that will lead to more interceptions and a lower completion %. But I think you will still see a ton of explosive plays and big time throws into tight windows that may ultimately result in Nussmeier having close to (maybe more) passing yards than Daniels
