Speaking of mayflies...
I've seen mayflies throughout the winter here...either I've never noticed until now, or they're confused
what I'm seeing in large numbers now is crane flies
and calligraphers

Not much here. Just a couple moths, and the first bug that seems to poke its head out every year:
A white margined burrower bug. I saw them a lot last year, and they are put in numbers crawling in the day lilies that have poked their heads up. Just a cell phone pic.
