Healthcare sucks. You have to be/have an advocate for yourself.
It doesn't matter your race.
If you go into a healthcare facility, you better be prepared to protect yourself. And it's way better to have a healthcare professional as a friend or family member with you as much as possible.
My gf is a nurse. I see and hear it every day. She's on the phone right this moment trying to help a friend at a hospital in NOLA. She was there all day yesterday with him. Pure chaos.
