LA is somewhat unique in America because you have your own cuisine. Much like Italian, Mexican, Greek, etc., LA has its own cuisine. Is it true Italy is likely to have the best Italian food in the world? Yes. Greek in Greece? Yep. Cajun in LA? Yep.
You're best at your cuisine. The argument then becomes is cajun cuisine the best in the world. HEEEELLLLLL no. Not even close, imo. But you're right, it is something that can be debated.
Framing it even further from reality, asking if LA has the best general food options in the world, regardless of cuisine, is an absolutely ridiculous thing to even ask.
