No…as long as you don’t “force it.”
Anywhere along the gulf coast, there is fresh seafood and a pretty heavy Cajun influence, so you are good there. However, if you go to Nebraska and order “Cajun” food, you are destined to be disappointed. The Midwest is beef country, so you order whatever beef dish is common there. Same goes for Colorado or west Texas…Mexican food is great out there, so you order that. Just takes some common sense to find something good to eat while traveling.
