Been to a UVA football game and it was the quietest major stadium I've ever been to. There was just absolutely no buzz or juice to the game. It was actually like being in a giant Roman amphitheater or something and watching a play, not a football game. Its not remotely close to even a mid-tier SEC game.

I've never understood the lust for UVA or UNC other than hoops and feigned academic "prestige" which is never what the SEC has been about.

Clemson is a natural fit, but FSU really rubs a lot of folks the wrong way in the SEC.

I’m not excited about Clemson. They’re about to be a forgettable program. I’d rather FSU and UNC. I do like think that UNC and Virginia fit the Big 10 academic mold way better though.

Yeah when I imagine an SEC education, academics don't come to mind.

Man I feel exactly the opposite. I don't think Clemson provides any value at all.
