So you don’t like when I talk bad about players that leave,

I don't like when anybody talks bad about players who chose to come to LSU leaving. Especially when they busted their asses for multiple seasons competing and eventually realized/were told it wasn't going to work out for them here. With the scholarship limit issues we have, I think it's pretty safe to say they were told they should look elsewhere. It's not like they were only here for 1 year, didn't like how little playing time they were getting, and pouted and took their ball home at the 1st sign of adversity.

You also derogatorily suggested they were leaving for "greener pastures," when everything they've done would suggest that they think playing at LSU IS the greener pasture. That just wasn't an option for them any longer. But I also hate the hypocrisy and lack of self-awareness of folks like you who praise our incoming transfers and welcome them with open arms while simultaneously shitting on the ones who leave, who actually chose LSU out of high school. I can't intellectually circle that square, and it pisses me off when you dumbasses are dishonest enough to.

You can't love the Joe Burrows, Jayden Daniels, and Mekhi Wingos while shitting on the Tre Bradfords and Armani Goodwins. Or even the Max Johnsons and TJ Finleys who actually started for us. Nobody thought they were good enough to play for us, but everybody's all too happy to shite on them for leaving.

but you can laugh at me when I say Harold Perkins will be a top 5 pick in the draft?

I love Harold Perkins and thought he had a really good year last year considering what he was asked to do. I was laughing at the thought that a 6'0' 210 pound tweener with no natural position would be a top 5 pick in the NFL draft. People somehow convinced themselves he was another Micah Parsons we could just line up on the edge and let rush the passer on every down. But Micah Parsons is 6'3" 245 and built completely differently than Perk. He can't do that against SEC OLs, much less NFL ones. And suggesting he's a top 5 pick is just putting unrealistic expectations on him and unfairly setting him up to be disappointing. He's a dude, but he's not THAT dude. He needs better players around him to be able to fully utilize his strengths.

I cheer for the players who play for LSU

Me too. And I cheer for the ones who chose to come to LSU out of high school when they likely could have gone anywhere and don't shite on them when it doesn't work out and they wind up leaving. I'm not talking about the Lance Heards or Eli Ricks of the world, but the guys who stuck around and gave it a shot, but eventually left after realizing they weren't going to be able to play here.

Right now Harold Perkins is in a precarious position size wise. He is definitely a "tweener" at this point. Certainly he isn't strong enough to take on blockers and to be a sure tackler. Also, even though he is fast, I wouldn't call him a superb cover guy either...he is decent. And I know everyone wants to blame House for every defensive woe but the reason Perkins wasn't used more on the LOS was that if you put a body in front of him, he definitely can be neutralized. In 2 years, I haven't seen Perkins bull rush or dominant a blocker right in front of him. That showed up in the SEC last season and will show up in the NFL even more. He needs to get bigger and stronger...speed only takes you so far. I do think his football instincts are good though.
