My spicy Pedro Pascal take is that he is so popular in Hollywood because the studios can check the diversity box by casting him but still have him pass as a white guy. See Joel from Last of Us

I'm with you on that and I'm convinced that's why he's Reed Richards (should've been Krasinski).
They were able to keep the F4 relatively close in look while still technically checking their ridiculously racist boxes.
FTR, I like Pascal, but he's just in too much at this point.
