I've often said, my liver is my super power. Due to genetics, I've been on statins for about 30 years. I drink about 3 liter of vodka a week. I never have a hangover, I am up at 6am every morning. My liver enzymes are tested every 6 months and are always in the normal range. I fit the definition of an alcoholic, but I can easily go without it for long periods of time. I don't crave it, just a habit I formed from being bored, I guess.
