re: Why do the Mannings hate Ole Miss now?

Peyton hasn’t liked ole miss since he chose to go to Tennessee. His dad caught shite from a lot of ole miss people over that decision and I think that plays a factor. He also is not a lane fan. Archie I don’t think hates ole miss but it’s no secret he’s not a lane fan and I don’t think he really is a huge fan of how Keith Carter runs the athletic program in general. It was a coup to fire Luke and hire kiffin and Keith really didn’t consult Archie on any of it which has been SOP for years. Just seems to me like he realizes his voice doesn’t carry the weight it once did and he’s backed off some. Good riddance if you ask me because he had over 50 years to be a big voice behind the program and pull some puppet strings and the program never really had sustained success. Eli is still good with ole miss and I think is really the only one that likes lane. Fits his personality more I feel like. Coops obviously a Texas guy right now but those things can change in a hurry. As someone else said I think Lane wasn’t willing to play ball on some of the arch recruitment because he just didn’t have him rated as highly as some other QBs they were after and maybe that didn’t sit well with coop.
