There are literally hundreds of millions of people that play violent video games and even more that watch violent TV shows. Especially in the US. The vast, vast majority aren’t coming close to committing gun violence.
We’ve had plenty of violence even before the advent of realistic looking violent games and tv shows/movies too. There are also quite a few of countries outside the US with high violent rate crimes even though some of these are nations are poorer ones without as large of the population that have tons of access to realistic modern violent media
