Working on an Opelousas Catholic article.
Realized that two years ago, No. 1 OC was upset in the first round by No. 16 Central Catholic. They meet again in the semifinals. OC No. 1 seed again.

You need to give some history there.
One state title many moons ago in baseball. Program has been cursed in playoffs for a lot of the time since. Many, many competitive teams with the talent to win it have failed for some reason or another.
Recently they had an opportunity to throw their ace vs Ouachita Christian in finals due to rain delay and he was ready to go and was told he would pitch, only to have the coach throw their #2, which was quite a drop in talent
A couple years before that they had Houma Christian and Gavin Dugas down 1-0 in a 3 game series and lead 8-0 in 2nd game, only to lose the series giving up like 3 HRs to Dugas
Another year they lost the final on an E5 w 2 outs bottom of the last inning
