I thought it was a school in Louisiana I didn’t know about. I went to Barbe and live in DFW and DFW has some of the best baseball talent in the country

I often wonder how Barbe would do in some of these districts with Southlake, Colleyville Heritage, Flower Mound, etc

They are all littered with former Texas Rangers and MLB players that live in the area

yea it was Flower mound texas and concordia out of texas today and then IMG out of florida later this month and live oak is no slouch. Considered one of the 5-6 teams expected to compete for trip to the state tournament in sulphur.

Barbe has just played 9 innings, then had to come back 20 min later and face that fricking juggernaut. not to mention it was an emotional rollercoaster that ended in a walk off then had to sit and let adrenaline come back down.

barbe does lack a true #1 overwhelming dominant starter now that Victorian is gone but they have 3 kids that would be considered the number 1 option at 99% of schools that are not nationally ranked.

Diego Corrales is a D1 mid major guy, JD Alexander is #1 soph in the state running it up to 87 last night and then Lawton Littleton the freshman hit 86 on monday.

now barbe has to face concordia lutheran tonight...Concordia does have DH playing Live Oak first and opelousas Catholic tomorrow

if barbe can make it through Pre-district with 2 losses or less....look out come playoff time because they will be rolling

also understand Barbe is without Victorian who was their best pitcher and then Courville who is their best player is out with injury. Courville is best catcher in the state and has been committed to A&M since his freshman year. With him out, you have to shuffle the ULL committ Kasen bellard back there or bring in the #5 soph in the state in Myles Ledoux and that shuffles whole infield and outfield all over the place. Makes it hard.
