Tell me if I am doing this math correctly. Say I bought 50-0-0 (just for discussion sake). If I have an area I am working on of 3000 square feet, I would buy/use 6 pounds of that fertilizer bag every 2-4 weeks? Do I have that right? Thanks

Yes, 6 lbs of 50-0-0 would theoretically be 3 lbs of nitrogen.
Spreading that across 3k sq ft would be 1 lb per thousand.

So do that once a month, or do 3 lbs twice/month (theoretically).

20.5-0-0 AMS is on sale at Lowe’s by the way.
