Grandpa got scammed by some house painting gypsies in the early 90's. Painted exterior of his house for a reasonable price but several weeks later it rained and half the paint ran off the damn walls. He waited for them to come back through town but it never happened.

My mother made it all the way to Walmart to buy gift cards because the “geek squad” repair guy messed up charging her and he was going to get in trouble. Luckily the Walmart cashier was wise to it.
