Groceries probably $150 a week = $600

Lunch at work 2 people x 20 days x $15 average = $800

Dinners out 8 times a month x $75 average = $600

So about $2k a month on the way upper end because we eat mainly chicken breasts, rice, veggies and fruit at home, often take lunch to work and 2 dinners out a week is rare. I'd say the average month is more like $1200.
