If you’re going battery get a 48v. I have an older 36v and it’s slower than I’d like it to be, but it’s perfect for the neighborhood cruising.
Had i bought a 48v I could take it to our camp in grand isle. I just don’t think mine would cut it on the beach, but I bought new batteries so I may try it out.
I didn’t want gas bc they’re noisier, but I hate relying on batteries.
I have an auto policy on one bc I cruise the neighborhood as well. I didn’t really need liability but I wanted comp and UM for injuries if someone runs me over in a car.
