Yet again, another reason why nobody trusts you. It's not a COMPLETE SHUTDOWN. That is bullshite. The shutdown applied only to people crossing BETWEEN legal check points. Even then, some people are still allowed to come in between legal checkpoints. The normal legal checkpoints stay in business.

In addition, this bill does nothing about the people who cross and aren't taken into custody. We don't know how many illegal aliens cross the border unencountered. We have a rough count of "gotaways". But a lot of people cross the border completely unknown to us, and we pretend like they don't exist. The human/drug trafficking would occur at border crossings where there are no patrols.

Building a wall with sensors would be a GREAT start.
