Oh, does that fix the mass migration, inflation, homeless, employment, and crime issues, along with all the crazy arse regulations being put in?
Keep your head in the sand. Play on your phone. The world is about to change dramatically in the next 20 years.
I'm not sure about a collapse, but we are certainly on the in the middle of a massive societal tilt. Which sucks too.

ok does posting daily on a message board change any of those things?
so in your view the world is goona change dramatically over the next 20 years....i can only vote...nothing else is changing that, so my choices are
1) Worry, be stressed and overall miserable for the next 20 years because i allowed politics to control my life
or
2) i can be happy, ignore all of that shite except at election time so that i can be happy and enjoy life/family/friends for the next 20 years with the exception of about a week to 10 days every other year when its time to go to the polls
ummmmmm.....which one sounds like the better plan...be the overly political douche bag that everyone hates that treats politics as a religion and is cult-like in his behavior
or I can go enjoy life
what a fricking hard choice!!!

When was the last time 20 years didn’t have a major change in the world?

quote:Counting backwards in roughly 20 year increments, it's hard to find a time the country has ever gone more than 25 years without dramatic change. I'd consider Covid one of those times. 20 years before that you had 9/11. 10 before that was the end of the Cold War. 20 years before that was the Vietnam War and the civil rights movement. 25 years before that was WWII and the beginning of the nuclear age. The Great Depression before that, and on and on.

Going 20 years without dramatic change is the exception, not the rule.
