Ok 777 or other pharmacists here — any thoughts on compounded bio-identical hrt??

straying from topic but I’m IR, post menopausal and 20# appeared with no changes. Hormones (prog/est/test) are all unmeasurable per lab report.

Increasing protein and resistance training going but to but not helping much.

Started compounded bio-identical hrt last week .. I’m skeptical of this but that’s what I was given. It’s pricey for sure. Once that straight or somewhat straight, hopefully balanced hormones and diet/activity will straighten things out weight wise.

IF NOT, I’m not completely opposed to these sgl but the n/v is just not appealing.

Getting older sucks and I’m trying to take care of myself for our kids and grandkids. Hoping to be around and active for some time.

Highly support women getting on hrt of needed. A good protocol will help in every aspect of your life, especially you marriage

Weight gain post menopause is usually from lack of Non exercise activity thermogenesis aka neat. In other words you are tired cause your hormones suck arse so you hardly move. I know when my test levels were at 82 all I wanted to do was sleep

But you don’t break laws of thermodynamics you just don’t get nearly the activity you used to. The HRT will help that and so much more
