Marv Levy’s and Bud Grant’s ghosts have entered the chat.

Well one more SB choke and he is there, IF he makes it again. He has already choked up to NFCCG wins where he had 10 point leads there too.

You could argue that Levy and Grant's teams were not as talented as the teams they played against. SF was the better team yesterday. All they have to do is run the ball.

Lol I'm wearing my chiefs flatbill this morning and peacocking all over your triggered arse. Mahomes broke you worse than Trump did.

He's gone up against arguably the 2nd best coach in the history of the game both times.

I'm not holding that against him.

However, he's had double-digit leads in both games and has lost. That is on him.

Yep, he's a choke artist.

KC's defense, despite being great, yields almost 5 yards per rush attempt.

He lost the game in the third quarter. Stop KC twice to start the half, including an INT in their territory, and this idiot throws is six straight times, each time with a play that takes forever to develop. They go 0/6 and hold the ball a whopping 40 seconds. KC's third possession they kick a FB. SF gets the ball, runs once, throws two more incompletions, punts, holds KC again, then they fumble the next punt return.

Three possessions in a row with the lead and they held the ball a whopping 1:45 seconds, only running once.

He is a choke artist to the Nth degree. The other post with his players not knowing OT rules is the icing on the cake. Put his flatbill in the Hall of Fame. Dude is a loser.

He had the MVP in Atlanta and a QB who finished third this season.

The problem yesterday is that Purdy did not play like the 3rd place MVP vote getter last night

Yeah, because the Chiefs had one of the best defenses in the league all year. Shanahan is a damn good coach. He'll get over the hump eventually.

KC brought a LOT of pressure, and Purdy was in situations where plays were taking 2-3 seconds to develop. On top of that, the strength of the KC defense is the pass rush and secondary. The Niners had a top run game.

What does Flatbill do? Abandons the run for plays that take forever to develop against a solid pass defense. WRs struggled all game to get open. This game was going to be won on the ground for SF.

Third time now Shanahan has lost a SB doing the exact same thing. He's a choke artist. Period. He will never learn. Dude could have a HOF player at every position and would still choke it away because he has no feel for big games. Just a perennial loser.

Nope. Won't happen. He's proven over and over again he can't do it. He will lose at least three more NFCCG and probably another SB. He will never win one.
