I just listened to the Novel on Audible the dialog was straight out of the book. The Cohen Brother kept it extremely close to the original source material

Nitpick: pretty sure the technology Chigurh used to track the money from a distance didn't exist in 1980. Not sure it even existed in 2007.
Fun fact: he guard at the border crossing is played by a guy named Brandon Smith. He's the stepson of rodeo star/cowboy actor/John Wayne sidekick Ben Johnson.

Yeah I remember picking up the book after seeing the movie, and being stunned at how true to the book the movie was. It was like I was reading the script directly. Great book, great film.
