I found BJJ when I was going through divorce. It gave me something incredibly difficult to do that helped me through dark times. Day 1, I was the worst person on the mats. Fast forward to today...I'm a 46 year old black belt, former PAN AM'S champion, and I have a gym full of close friends that would do anything for me. I'm remarried, and my wife insists that I train, because it makes me a lot more mellow.
