Your original post was simply about Manhatten tourists, which was a dumb comparison, now you've edited it to include the Macy's parade which is a decent comparison.

And that's just not true. We see it all the time when cities have ridiculous riots after sports games.

I left Nola and hate on it regularly, but one thing they're good at is crowd control.
