re: Most depressing small town?

It may not be the worst, but my hometown of New Iberia, LA is pretty fricking depressing these days. I haven't lived there since 1994, but I visited recently and it's even more of a shithole than it was when I grew up there.

I suppose that's the case with most small towns in Louisiana, but it seems like it's extra bad because so many people have moved to the Lafayette area, especially the Youngsville and Broussard areas, from New Iberia.
