Its a shocking double standard.
Biden was found to have willfully retained documents that he never had executive rights to post-Vice Presidency.
Those documents were of the highest levels of classification and marked. Some containing national security and military information.
He openly discussed these documents with a ghostwriter. Conversations that were recorded. Biden denies them even thought he's on tape.
The documents were not secured and spread around over several locations for many years.
Trump's documents were part of his Presidential transition, and in that transition, he had the right to retain them as negotiations for their transfer were conducted with NARA - just as all Presidents before him have done. They were securely kept, under FBI review, in the presidential offices at MAL. An avowed TDS loon at NARA decided to play hardball with Trump and when his attorneys pushed back, he reported him for all of these absurd charges.
Now, they are sweeping Biden's case under the rug, but they will go scorched earth on Trump. Just like everything else.
Its no more complicated than that.
