how so? he stays pretty much in his niche, and he does well. i cant think of a single role in which he was miscast or out of his league. he's a great comedic actor, and does fine when the role calls for a little bit of seriousness. i think, if anything, he "hits right into his talent coverage" (i also think you blended two sports metaphors)

i'll disagree. he's better in some things than others.
his best performance IMO is "I Love You, Man".
