re: Do you know anyone who is trans?

A guy who works for the same company but in another state decided to transition. We were on teams that had a lot of interaction and he came across as a really nice guy. An HR person sent out an email outlining their preferred pronouns and how we had to be respectful, etc. The transitioner let everyone know he didn’t care about the pronouns and knew we’d eventually slip
Up but it would be an innocent mistake. He/she started hormone therapy and their voice got much higher. We stopped interacting much and he was on a call with me for the first time in a long time. His profile picture on the Zoom meeting was a guy with dreadlocks and his voice was definitely deeper like it was before the transition began. He has the same new name but it’s ambiguous. No idea what’s going on but he has the same upbeat persona. I hope he’s doing well.
