Wife and I went to St. Thomas USVI in 2017 for our honeymoon. It was reasonably affordable. We stayed in a private villa and rented a car to get around. We took the car barge to St. John for two days while we were there. We cooked breakfast at the house every morning and grilled at the place a couple nights to save a little money on food. I did look at the villa we stayed in and it has doubled in price since we stayed so it may not be as affordable anymore. But if you are interested the name of the villa is On The Rocks in St. Thomas. If you google it you can find it easily. By far the prettiest place with the nicest view that I have ever been.
