Have the doctors told you this is permanent? The brain can heal itself depending on how it was damaged.

Unfortunately once the brain cells die, they are gone forever. In younger people, other areas of the brain can try to make up for loss functions. Stay away from things that damage your brain, especially under 25 when your frontal lobe is still developing. Decline starts as early mid 30’s, so accelerating that will affect you later in life.
Brain health nutrition is a growing field. Many studies show that adhering to a lifestyle like the Mediterranean diet slows degeneration and keeps you functioning at a higher level later in life.
I, of course, don’t follow that advice, so my wife will outlive me by 20 years. I’m a “we my get hit by a bus tomorrow” subscriber.
