Yeah I doubt this gets made even if this rumor has a basis. I don’t think there is any demand for another Pirates movie, let alone for one like this. This might be like the endless Star Wars movie projects that get announced then forgotten.

If they announced a new Pirates with Johnny Depp back as Jack Sparrow, they'd print money.
Unfortunately for them, I don't think he'd ever agree to it.

And while I like Eyo as an actress, there’s a reason no bigger stars are climbing over themselves to be the lead in this movie. She’s probably the “biggest” actress they can get for this role at this point because no one wants to follow Depp.
